The College is running under the trust, “Central India Institute of Education and Cultural Development“. The trust is registered in the year 1996, under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 and Maharashtra Societies Registration Act 1860.
Central India Institute Of education and Cultural Development is a pioneer body imparting quality education in the field of rural education in Central India. We believe that, “Destiny of India is now being shaped in her classrooms”. Since inception the trust is working hard to become a centre of excellence in the field of education. It aims to transform the students socially, economically and spiritually, by liberating from the shackles of poverty, illiteracy. Our goals are to offer the best, to reach to the rural students
Dr. Jayant Patil has founded the trust with mission to provide quality education to the students of rural sectors. Dr Jayant Patil an acclaimed academician and a prominent name in the academic circles. He holds various authoritative posts in the Nagpur University, Amravati University and Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Science University. He has to his credit many Research articles in national and International Seminars. He also has also authored three books in Geography, in National Publication. He has been associated with various organizations of National and International repute. He is actively engaged in the in the inter linking of Industrial Institutes for the benefit of rural and tribal students. Being a dynamic and visionary educationist, he realizes the importance of education and uses it as an effective tool for social change and rapid economic growth of the country. He believes rural education is indispensable for helping them to come to the mainstream. With this vision in view, he has opened chain of Institutes in the rural regions of Vidarbha to lay stress on the significance of higher Education. He has taken the stupendous task of awakening the people of rural area to take up higher studies. He has been awarded the prestigious Bharat Gaurav Award and many coveted medals for excellence in Education and carved a niche for him.
